Motorgo was Sears Roebuck and Company's first brand name outboard motor. The first Motorgo went on sale in their 1914 catalog. The early outboards were manufactured by Lockwood-Ash, Caille and Muncie Gear Works.These early outboards were not always well marked with model and serial numbers. The model numbers listed here for these Motorgo outboards are from the Sears Roebuck and Company's catalogs. These listed model numbers may or may not be located on outboards.
Hard core parts for these outboards are getting more difficult to find as time goes on. Many older outboards used common Ignition and Carburetor venders for that period.
