The Sea King outboard motor
brand name was sold by the Montgomery Wards Catalog
and Department Stores. Motors were manufactured by various manufactures over
the years. The primary manufacturers were Gale (OMC), Clinton and Chrysler
Marine. The Sea King outboard motors were on sale
from 1933 - 1986. In the year 2000, Montgomery Wards
filed for bankruptcy and closed it's doors after 128 years in business.
Hard core parts for these outboards are getting more
difficult to find as time goes on. Many older outboards used common Ignition
and Carburetor venders for that period. Discount Marine Parts has Ignition and
